Prologue Picnic

  The Deerwalk Literature Club organized a  Prologue  Picnic  on  August 28, 2022.   The  picnic  was planned originally for  Bhundol, Pharping . However, the setting didn't seem to be very appropriate due to the turbulence in the weather. The group opted to head to  Dhulikhel's Gosainthan ViewTower  after searching for an alternate route. At 8:30 a.m., after everyone arrived, the bus departed for Dhulikhel. It took an hour to travel to Dhulikhel. The ride was enjoyable because everyone was bopping to the music while some were playing Uno.  Everyone walked for around 30 minutes to get to the observatory after getting off the bus. We had a good time talking and laughing as we walked to the view tower. We got there around ten in the morning. The fog and rain prevented us from seeing the view as we had hoped, but it still had its appeal. We laughed and had fun while playing games like "Dumb Shall Act," taking pictures, and munchin...

Book Talk II

  The Deerwalk Literature Society successfully conducted the   follow -up session of the   Book Talk   on   17th August 2022 . Everyone gathered in the cafeteria area for the session to start at 4 o'clock. In addition to many familiar faces that attended the event previously, we were thrilled to welcome several new faces. Many of them brought the books that were traded at the previous session and were very eager to express their thoughts on the books. Aasara Bade Shrestha gave her thoughts on the book Verity that she exchanged at the last event. She thought the book was exciting and engaging and advised others to read it too. It Ends With Us, a book that Bidhi Raghubanshi found incredibly touching, was briefly summarized by her. Similarly, Saujanya Sharma described the novel "The Kite Runner" with great enthusiasm and revealed that he read the book in just two days because he was so captivated by it.
