Prologue Picnic

The Deerwalk Literature Club organized a Prologue Picnic on August 28, 2022. The picnic was planned originally for Bhundol, Pharping. However, the setting didn't seem to be very appropriate due to the turbulence in the weather. The group opted to head to Dhulikhel's Gosainthan ViewTower after searching for an alternate route.

At 8:30 a.m., after everyone arrived, the bus departed for Dhulikhel. It took an hour to travel to Dhulikhel. The ride was enjoyable because everyone was bopping to the music while some were playing Uno. Everyone walked for around 30 minutes to get to the observatory after getting off the bus. We had a good time talking and laughing as we walked to the view tower. We got there around ten in the morning. The fog and rain prevented us from seeing the view as we had hoped, but it still had its appeal. We laughed and had fun while playing games like "Dumb Shall Act," taking pictures, and munching on food.

At 12:00 a.m., we departed Dhulikhel and headed back to Kathmandu for lunch. We all decided to eat exquisite thakali dishes at Naxal, which were bursting with flavor. After an unexpected but wonderful day, we finally made it to Deerwalk College at 2:00 p.m. From there, we headed back to our own houses with plans to go on another picnic soon.

The club members handled the event well, and everyone had a memorable trip despite the abrupt change in plans due to inclement weather. All in all, it was quite a fun trip.
